Incumbent Worker Training Program
Grants sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Labor, the Incumbent Worker Training Program offers businesses and industries needed upgrade training for present employees. Very often with the increase of technology comes an increase in the need to train to the new technology. Grant money is available to qualifying businesses and industries that need a little help with additional training needs of their company.

Pathways To Construction:
With the rebuilding efforts of the Gulf Coast, skilled construction workers are in higher demand than ever. Becoming a skilled construction worker will help you earn a great salary and be a part of the rebuilding efforts of Louisiana. All you need is the training, and the Louisiana Reconstruction Team needs you
Through this free training program, you will receive specialized classroom instruction and practical shop experience in basic safety, construction math, the use of hand tools and power tools, blueprint reading, basic rigging, basic communication skills, and basic employability skills. You may also choose to continue your education and train in the areas of carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and welding. Your options are limitless!
